An €150,000 open air fitness centre has been inaugurated at Ta' Qali by Sports Parliamentary Secretary Clyde Puli.
At this centre, anyone can do a complete work out free of charge at any time of the day.
Mr Puli said the centre was part of the government's strategy to promote regular physical activity as a lifestyle for a healthier society.
The centre includes fitness bikes, ski machines, treadmills, a double station lat pull down, a double station chest press, a cross trainer, dips, an abdominal bench, a double station leg press, tai chi and a multi stretch point.
The machinery includes instructions on its use.
Several sports activities for the family are being organised at the centre this weekend.
