The creative team of Le Méridien St Julians Hotel & Spa has reinvented the spirit of Christmas with a magical theme. Browsing through Le Méridien St Julians’ Christmas brochure feels like entering the forgotten world of ancient storybooks. The leaflet is tainted in fairy tale colours and each page is a sweet discovery that combines informative content with enchanting touches.

“This year at Le Méridien, storytelling is key,” explained Mr Franco Vella, General Manager. “Our theme was carefully selected and was welcomed with great enthusiasm by all our departments. It is a success on several levels. Not only do we believe that it will present our customers with an unusual yet magical dining experience, but it also triggered the creative minds of our entire team.”

All menus have been inspired by fairy tales and fantastic stories.

“Together as a team, we are proud to represent Le Méridien,” said Reuben Grixti, Executive Head Chef. “It is a dynamic and stylish brand that emphasizes the creativity of its cuisine.”

Even the hotel itself is turning its usual contemporary ambiance into a unique fairy tale with some stunning highlights in terms of Christmas decoration.

This Christmas, the Le Méridien team will hold out a helping hand to those who need it most. Together with the talented handcrafted creativity of Valletta Glass, Le Méridien kitchen brigade has come up with a stunning concept for their traditional giant Christmas cake.

On Friday, December 2, at the launch of Le Méridien Christmas Festivities, an edible cushion was presented by Reuben Grixti, Executive Head Chef. On top of this pastry chef-d’oeuvre, a stunning Cinderella’s glass slipper was proudly laid out – a unique handmade collection piece of blown glass created purposely for the occasion by Valletta Glass.

The dainty sparkling shoe is an unparalleled work of art, containing €50 worth of gold dust. During the welcome reception of the night, an auction of this amazing Cinderella’s glass slipper was held with all patrons attending Le Méridien Christmas launch. All proceeds went to L-Istrina.

Additionally, on December 3 and 4, Le Méridien St Julians Hotel & Spa is selling portions of its giant Christmas cake. All visitors are welcome to join for a sweet treat – for only €2, you can enjoy a great bite of the cake together with a nice coffee. All profit made throughout the weekend will also be forwarded to the Malta Community Chest Fund.
