Damaged grids of water culverts in Eucharistic Congress Road, Mosta, need to be repaired urgently as they are an accident waiting to happen. Similar grids at Ħamrun, in front of the Johann Strauss School of Music, also need to be tended to. Drivers are being forced to swerve dangerously to avoid such grids.

Out of reach

Whoever designed the disabled toilet layout on the Gozo ferries must not have realised that fixing the toilet roll to the wall makes it practically impossible to reach. What’s the point of having such toilets when they are not fully accessible?

No brochures

There was not a single tourist leaflet to be seen on the evening Malita trip to Gozo last Friday. It’s all very well renovating hotels and launching new tourist attractions but why not take advantage of such a captive audience?

Pitiful sight

The Smart City Laguna is in a pitiful state and the water clearly requires some attention. Not only has this become an eyesore but the stagnant water is a breeding ground for mosquitos carrying diseases, especially in the summer months.

Risky overload

Overloaded delivery trucks are a common sight on our roads. Some even stack what they are carrying on top of each other without securing them. One such case was spotted last week. It is not the first time this has been reported but nothing seems to have happened.
