When will we ever learn to discard trash properly? It is ironic that garbage bins at the national pool after the Neptunes vs Sliema match re-mained empty, while trash was scattered all over the place and in-between the rows of seats.

And what a Ball…

Likewise in Ball Street, Paceville, on Wednesday morning. The area needs a thorough clean-up, while the bins need to be replaced or washed, since people must get the shivers just looking at them.

Putting your foot in it

Pedestrians in Stella Maris Street, Sliema, had better walk with their eyes glued to the pavement, for it is very easy to get a leg stuck in the broken slabs and even fractured. The local council should wake up and have any such dangers removed.

In a tangle

Who is in charge of ensuring pedestrian safety? Wires in JF Marks Street, San Ġwann, hang precariously on to the street and can easily be caught by a high vehicle passing through. Immediate action is called for.

Couldn’t care less

The vehicles of eCabs in St Julian’s are being parked illegally and haphazardly on the pavement, obstructing movement and outlets. People have to walk into the middle of the road. The situation has been reported a number of times but no action is taken. Is the company more equal than others?
