A traffic counting device has been installed on the Birkirkara bypass, ironically just under a sign encouraging pedestrians to use the subways. Are the authorities thinking of installing traffic lights? It would be ironic considering that two subways are available in that stretch of road, some couple of hundred of metres apart.

Disgusting!

Don’t we ever learn? A few days ago a used nappy was discarded in full sight at the MCP car park in Floriana. How can people be so disgusting?

 

 

 

 

Orange bonanza to waste

A few days ago hundreds of oranges (gone bad of course) were strewn on the ground beneath the orange trees at Buskett. Isn’t someone supposed to collect these before they go to waste? What a pity!

 

 

 

Burst bubble

This Mazda Bubble has been abandoned outside St Monica School in Gżira for several months. Over time it also had its headlamps and back lights stolen. The car has a yellow police notice affixed to its windscreen. It should be removed immediately.

Two-wheel hazard

Much has been said and written to encourage more bicycle use. However more education is needed especially among bike users. Only a few days ago a cyclist was posing a hazard to motorists on December 13 Road, Marsa. He was driving on the outer lane, oblivious to other motorists.
