The Ombudsman and the Health Commissioner today welcomed a motion moved by the Opposition for the setting up of a Health Select Committee with the aim of promoting national consensus in the sector.

They made their statements in a letter to Speaker Anglu Farrugia, copies of which were also sent to the leader of the House Louis Grech and Health Opposition spokesman Claudio Grech.
