A substantial number of nurses received wrong and baseless anonymous information about their union’s president Paul Pace, the Malta Union of Midwives and Nurses said today.
In a statement condemning the “cowardly” incident, the MUMN said the information was said in the midst of a campaign for an appointment of a new council for the next four years.
It said it was surprised how, at this time and age, there were still people who used anonymity for such dirty and unprincipled behaviour.
It said it was convinced that this act would not affect members when they came to vote for their council.
