The Labour Party executive has decided to call an extraordinary general conference in mid-November to discuss a reform of the party statute, the MLP announced.

The decision was taken last night following a proposal by party leader Joseph Muscat.

A number of workshops will be held before the conference to enable the party delegates to discuss the changes.
