Those attending Notte Bianca on Saturday are being urged by the organisers to use public transport to avoid traffic congestions and parking problems.

Malta Public Transport will be offering an extended service from and to Valletta between 11pm and 2am.

Route 133 will consist of a shuttle service around Valletta every 15 minutes be-tween 5pm and midnight.

Tallinja cards can be used for the special night fare of €2.50 and non-card holders pay €3 in cash on the bus.

Gozo Channel will run a special service from Mġarr to Valletta at 5pm, with the ferry then leaving Valletta Cruise Port Terminal on Sunday at 1am.

A shuttle ferry service will operate from Sliema to Marsamxett and from the Three Cities to Lascaris and back, up to 4am on Sunday.

The park and ride car parks and the Upper Barrakka Lift will operate normally.

Medical assistance will be offered at St Elmo Palace, the Ministry of Health, Ordinance Street and Old Theatre Street at the corner of Merchants Street.
