A Norwegian who is living in Mgarr, Gozo was given a six-month jail term suspended for two years after he pleaded guilty to damaging the property of two people and threatening police officers.

Knut Mathias Klonteig, 24, also admitted to disobeying two police officers, breaching the peace and being drunk in public. A €500 guarantee was issued in favour of the victims for a one-year period.

Mr Klonteig was provisionally discharged for a year after he admitted to being in possession of cocaine on a separate occasion.
