Nothing has resulted from investigations into possible foul play behind the two nation-wide power cuts last year, Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi said today.
Replying to questions on the PBS programme Dissett, Dr Gonzi said there had been a number of coincidences and the government had had a duty to investigate.
That no foul play had been found was further evidence of the need to decommission the Marsa power station as soon as possible because of repeated technical faults, Dr Gonzi said.
Enemalta called in the police in November after a nation-wide power cut, hours after its chairman was interviewed on television.
A power outage in June came on the day of a debate on Enemalta in Parliament.
