The police are to take “no further action” after concluding their inquiry into how Katie Price’s three-year-old daughter was burnt while in her care.

The model and reality television star said she was “relieved” at the results of the investigation into Princess Tiaamii’s injury.

It was launched after newspaper reports suggested the youngster was burned on her arm in a sauna during a break in Switzerland with her mother last month.

A Surrey police spokesman said: “We have concluded our investigation into an incident involving a three-year-old from Woldingham.

“Officers from the Public Protection Investigation Unit are satisfied the account given is consistent with the injury and have no child protection safeguarding concerns in connection with this incident.

“No arrests were made during the investigation and no further action will be taken.”

Ms Price, formerly known as Jordan, said: “I am so relieved at the police findings – even though I knew that Princess had received no injury that warranted anything more than the most basic of treatment and that this injury was sustained in a fluke accident, having the police investigate and seeing headlines about child abuse and my ex-husband being ‘horrified’ at what he called a bad burn have caused terrific strain.”

Ms Price, of Woldingham, Surrey, has three children – Princess and six-year-old Junior with her ex-husband Peter Andre and Harvey, nine, with former footballer Dwight Yorke.
