Nine Britons were among 11 people arrested by police in connection with drug hauls on Thursday and Friday.
The most serious case involved two British teenagers aged 18 and 19 who pleaded guilty to trafficking prohibited substances including ketamine, MDMA and cannabis. Both were fined €500 and sentenced to 11 and 12 months imprisonment respectively.
Five other Britons who were found in possession of drugs for personal use were given a suspended sentence.
On Good Friday, the police also apprehended another two Britons and a Maltese in connection with an ecstasy haul. A further arrest was made when a 24-year-old man whose nationality was not disclosed was found in possession of cannabis with intent to traffic. They are due to be charged in court.
