The summer issue of Perry Ltd's property magazine will be distributed free with The Sunday Times tomorrow.

A good number of interesting, upmarket properties can be found in this issue.

A painting by portraitist Alfred Egerton Cooper (1883-1974) features on the front cover of the magazine.

Mr Cooper was one of Winston Churchill's prolific portrayers and he succeeded where many failed. Mr Churchill liked his works.

In 1943, Mr Cooper painted a portrait of Mr Churchill for the Junior Carlton Club and this was reproduced in large quantities under the title Profile For Victory.

He also did a portrait of King George VI in 1940.

His work is exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery in London.

The painting on the magazine's front cover that was done in the late 1950s shows a couple leaning on the fuselage of an aeroplane named Nighthawk, which they raced in.

Perry's property magazine is produced by Mediamaker Ltd and printed by Progress Press, both members of the Allied Group of Companies.
