Top officials from the Inter Club Malta recently visited Milan to present Nigerian striker Obafemi Martins with the honour of 'Calciatore dell' Anno 2003/04'. The Maltese delegation, which included 21 local Inter fans, was led by club president John Zammit, vice-president Paul Fenech, general secretary Joe Mula and treasurer Tanya Gravina.

The presentation was held at Appiano Gentile where Gravina handed the trophy to the Nigerian forward before one of the team's training sessions. During their stay, the Maltese contingent watched two Serie A matches involving the Milan-based club. The Inter supporters club committee members also held discussions with high-ranking officials of the Serie A giants, including president Giacinto Facchetti. One of the topics discussed was Inter Campus Malta.
