A 28-year-old Nigerian was jailed for seven years and fined €20,000 today after he admitted selling cocaine in Malta.

Mike Biala filed his guilty plea immediately before facing a trial by jury.

He admitted having agreed with Victor Anokwu and George Moses to deal in cocaine and with having sold drugs worth up to €500.

He was arrested after a kilo of cocaine was found at his house in St Paul's Bay.
