The British High Commission in Malta launched a new-look website, as part of the UK Foreign Office's effort to enhance the impact of its global web presence.

The website address is now www.ukinmalta.fco.gov.uk, with the title itself reflecting the commitment of the UK to Malta.

The High Commission said the new web platform will increase the resilience and performance of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office's public-facing websites, including those of Embassies and High Commissions overseas.

The website is a first-point contact for British nationals living in Malta, and for British travellers seeking guidance. It carries clear advice about passport and visa matters. It describes the High Commission's work in Malta, including policy work with the Maltese government. The news section brings together the latest developments in UK foreign policy globally, and the latest local news from the British High Commission's media section.

The High Commissioner's web blog remains the most visited page on the website, and will keep on running on the new site.
