Go Mobile will today launch Travel And Talk, a new tariff aimed at simplifying roaming charges and making them more convenient.

Through the new tariff, customers will be taking "their everyday tariff with them abroad" when roaming with a number of international networks in most European countries as well as the Unites States, Libya and Tunisia, Go Mobile said.

When using their phone in selected countries, Travel And Talk customers can make a call at 10c a minute in addition to a 50c connection fee.

The charge applies to calls made to Malta and to the country from where the customer is calling.

When receiving a call, customers will pay 50c for every 10 minutes. Sending an SMS while roaming on the participating networks will cost 15c per SMS, Go Mobile said.

The Travel And Talk tariff is available in 26 networks in 24 countries: Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Israel, Libya, The Netherlands, Norway, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the United States.

For the time being, Travel And Talk is a post-paid (contract) tariff.

To activate Travel And Talk, post-paid customers can call 146 from their Go Mobile line or visit any one of the company's seven customer contact centres in Malta and Gozo.
