Arthur Galea Salomone is the new chairman of the Malta Stock Exchange.

Antoine Fiott is deputy chairman and Richard Sladden, Karen Spiteri Bailey and Charlotte Attard directors, the government said.

Dr Galea Salomone graduated as a lawyer from the University of Malta in 1988. As a commonwealth scholar, he read international commercial law at the University of Toronto and has practiced widely in corporate and commercial law. He has been deputy chairman of the Malta Stock Exchange since June 2000.
