Plans are in hand to “substantially revise” the secondary school syllabus.

Education Minister Dolores Cristina told Labour MP Evarist Bartolo this would only happen after the release of the minimum national curriculum and the SEC examination review.

In 2011-2012 the Maltese, English and Mathematics syllabi for Form One students would be spread over three levels. There would only be one syllabus for the other subjects. These syllabi would be segmented into learning outcomes that reflect the differentiation.
