Work on a new waterpolo pitch in Birżebbuġa is on track and the club’s players will be training there this summer, while it is expected to open to the public next year. The pitch is being built above sea level in a €1.2 million project by the education and transport ministries. Transport Minister Joe Mizzi visited the site yesterday.
