Five years after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans, trumpet players, drummers and movers on the music scene say that the city is finally back on track as a major destination for jazz.

In fact, musicians celebrating jazz great Louis Armstrong's birthday ahead of the anniversary of Katrina say that surviving the storm and rebuilding their city -- and their lives -- has given them something to sing about.
