The recently appointed CEO of Malta International Airport Plc, Julian Jaeger, yesterday paid a courtesy visit on Competitiveness and Communications Minister Ċensu Galea.

Various issues including recent positive increases in passenger numbers and the efforts to develop new air routes were discussed.

Mr Galea and Mr Jaeger also discussed developments at European Union level in the civil aviation sector, including efforts to sign open skies agreements with North African countries as well as prospects for cruise-fly business.
