For the Feast of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, celebrated in Sliema, two bandists will join Sliema band for the first time after studying at the society's school of music.

These are Matthew Perrett, who studied the clarinet under Mro William Debattista and Arianne Spiteri Cremona, who studied the tamburro under Chris Camilleri.
