George Vassallo is the new manager of Frank Salt's Sliema branch. Mr Vassallo has been in the real estate business for over 18 years. He first joined the company as a sales consultant in 1986 and worked for seven years in sales at the company's head office in St Julian's.

He rejoined the company in 2003 as a senior sales consultant, and during 2004 was appointed head of the company's Investment Property Unit. Mr Vassallo will be taking up his responsibilities at the new Sliema office, due to open shortly on Tower Road.

He will be taking over from Grahame Salt, who has been managing the branch office since May 1997, and who will be taking over the management of the sister company Homes of Quality.

"Mr Vassallo's appointment forms part of the company's strategic plan which was set in motion since the beginning of this year. A forward looking plan, which incorporates expansion in the company's local and overseas operations, staff appointments and recruitment and training of new staff.

"Being a person with such a vast experience and know-how in the property market, Mr Vassallo proves to be another asset to the already strong management team within the Frank Salt group", managing director Joseph Lupi said.
