Viral video hitmakers JibJab returns with a spoof of the year 2009, lampooning every pop culture topic big or small.

JibJab, the viral video hitmakers that routinely poke fun at public figures are ending the decade with a web video critique of the past year.

"Never a Year Like '09" puts the best and worst of 2009 into perspective to a modified version of Scott Joplin's ragtime hit "The Entertainer", lashing out at politics, pop culture and the busted economy, with the paper cut-out animated visuals that have become a JibJab signature.

The usual suspects are lampooned in the video -- world leaders like U.S. president Barack Obama and Afghanistan president Hamid Karzai are prominently featured -- as are current political developments, like the divisive battle over healthcare in congress and the "Twitter Revolution" that followed Iran's disputed 2009 elections.

Notable crises of the past year, like the H1N1 flu outbreak and the global fiscal meltdown, along with the government funded bailout programs that followed it, are also mentioned.

Pop culture celebrities aren't off the hook either: rapper Kanye West, golfer Tiger Woods and TV host Dave Letterman, among several others, make appearances in the roughly two minute video.
