The Malta Bible Society is organising eight new Bible courses and seminars in Maltese between October and December.

The aim of these courses is to help people better understand the Bible and its message. The courses are held in the morning between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. and between 6 and 7.30 p.m.

The following are the topics and lecturers of the courses and seminars: Judaism in the times of Christ, by Dr Dennis Mizzi; Anti- Semitism in the Gospels, by Fr Martin Micallef; The proclamation of the Word of God in the Liturgy, by Fr Hector Scerri; The personal relationship with Jesus according to the Gospel of John, by Fr Ġorġ Dalli; Fanaticism and contradictions in the Gospels, by Fr Alfred Agius; The formation of conscience in the Light of Scriptures, by Fr Arthur Vella, SJ.

The courses and seminars will be held at the Malta Bible Society, 51, Triq il-Miratur, Floriana.
