Tonio Montebello has been appointed designate CEO of Wasteserv. He will be taking over from Jonathan Scerri who shall be furthering his career path within other government linked entities.

Godwin Agius has been appointed chief projects manager while Andrea Brincat has taken over as chief operations officer. Both posts had been vacated earlier this year.

Wasteserv said that to ensure better accountability, a new post of chief officer internal audit was established and it was being filled by Raymond Lanzon.

Another new position is that of chief corporate services officer to be occupied by Patrick Grixti. The aim, the company said, was to bring about the much needed separation between the finance function and administrative roles to attain more focus in both departments.
