An agreement which should lead to the setting up, in Malta, of the required infrastructure for the introduction of modern electrical vehicles on the market has been signed with Portugal.
The signing, in Lison, should lead to the setting up of a network of charging points for electrical vehicles.
During a bilateral meeting Rural Affairs Minister George Pullicino had with the Portuguese Secretary of State for Energy and Innovation Carlos Zorrinho, the importance of generating more energy from clean sources was discussed.
