April 2019 will see the opening of a Nespresso flagship store at the Tigné Point Shopping Mall, Sliema. The new store will offer coffee lovers the opportunity to discover and enjoy the ultimate coffee experience at Malta’s largest shopping centre.

For the Christmas period a temporary pop-up store is located on Level 0, enabling customers to purchase Nespresso machines and coffees.

Nespresso, a brand recognised worldwide, has evolved from being a pioneer and trendsetter for portioned coffee to a worldwide reference.

This is great news for Nespresso lovers, as it’s the first shop of its kind in Malta. Behind the Nespresso concept lies a story rooted in the company’s heritage of highest-quality coffees, innovative stylish machines, and personalised service. Coffee is loved by the Maltese and the opening of this store will offer coffee connoisseurs a wide range of options to enjoy and the aroma of a variety of coffees.

In Malta, just like in any other country, Nespresso will continue to promote the protection of the environment

Substantial investment in this new venture will include the inauguration of a Nespresso retail unit, the launch of a dedicated website, the setting up of both a call centre and distribution centre, apart from the Nespresso store.

In Malta, just like in any other country, Nespresso will continue to promote the protection of the environment. All Nespresso packing is recyclable, and recycling starts from even before a coffee tree starts producing coffee beans – as the water used is also recycled.

All coffee capsules are produced using sustainably sourced aluminum, helping reduce the environmental footprint as a result of lightweight transportation. Moreover, in Malta, Nespresso will ensure the recycling of all capsules and customers will be encouraged to help in this effort by collecting them appropriately.

Nespresso will be making recycling as convenient as possible and customers will be able to drop off used capsules in Nespresso stores, or alternatively they can be collected by Nespresso representatives when delivering new orders. These capsules will be collected as part of Nespresso’s worldwide sustainable programme and will be sent abroad to Nespresso recycling plants. The capsules will be recycled and reused in the production of other materials.

Consumers can now enjoy an assortment of coffees, the style of a Nespresso machine and related accessories by ordering online when visiting www.nespresso.com.mt, sending an e-mail on info@nespresso.com.mt or by calling the service centre on 8007 4448 or 7988 4488.
