Automobile horns are installed for emergency reasons. They should be used only when necessary and not every time a non-thinking driver approaches a blind intersection.

Not only is such horn blowing a great nuisance, it is totally unnecessary.

Think about it. Blowing your horn as you approach a corner is meant to warn other drivers that "Here I come, get out of my way!" But what if an approaching driver does not hear your horn, or, hearing it, does nothing?

You must be prepared to stop in either case.

Please save your neighbours' eardrums and blow your horn only when it is needed in order to avoid an accident.
