The first meeting of the Nationalist Party’s Audit Committee, set up to oversee the financial and administrative governance of the party and its structures, held its first meeting today.

The meeting was attended by party leader Simon Busuttil and secretary general Chris Said.

The board, the party said in a statement, was another step aimed at leading to a a professionally managed party.

The board is chaired by Franz Wirth and its members are Malcolm Custo’, Isabelle Vella, Eugenio Privitelli and Mario Galea.
