Three players from the Red Star Tennis Club in Yugoslavia are currently in Malta for a short training spin with the national squad members.

The Yugoslavs, here through the close contacts of the Malta national coach Dusan Janicijevic, will provide invaluable experience to the locals as they all enjoy good ranking in the ATP list and form part of their country's Davis Cup team.

Nikola Ciric, Alexander Slovic and Ivan Bjelica will be staying until the end of next week, training approximately six hours daily with the Malta national squad.

The Maltese will play six matches against Red Star, over two Saturdays, starting tomorrow. On each match-day, two singles and a doubles match, starting at 5 p.m., will be played at the Vittoriosa Lawn Tennis Club.

The training venture with Red Star Club is part of the Malta Tennis Federation's ongoing efforts to provide similar high-level encounters with foreign players and to give ample chance for Maltese players to gain useful experience and succeed in overseas tournaments.
