James Bonello Ghio has taken over at the top of the 'Hi-Tec' National League rankings.

The in-form Bonello Ghio beat Steve Rizzo in the final following a series of impeccably-executed drops. Chris Stahl was third ahead of Martin Mallia.

Division Two saw Nigel Dunkerley and Robert Sultana powering their way back into the First Division as Wirth and Schembri retained their status after finishing third and fourth.

In the Third Division, Patrick Muscat and Malcolm Naudi clinched the top two spots while Massimo Angilleri had no rivals for the Fourth Division title.

Mark Wright was the other promoted player to the Third Division after beating Charles Cuschieri in a play-off for second place.

James Cilia was the winner of the Fifth Division and Liz Said confirmed her return to form by storming to the Sixth Division title without dropping a single match.

Sandra Schembri Wismayer took the Seventh Division title.

Hi-Tec and MaltaSportsOnline .com were the sponsors of the National League tournaments.
