Having a tight agenda that gave her no time to rest, Natalie Gauci, the 26-year-old Maltese descendant who won Australian Idol 2007, and who will be a special guest on the final night of the Malta Song for Europe festival, had to cancel signings at today's concert in Perth.

Valentina Pizzata, one of Natalie's fans who attended the Burswood concert, told timesofmalta.com, "[Natalie] told us that she will be flying straight away to Malta". However, Natalie promised her fans that she would make up for the signings. "She said that she's got something special planned for Perth... she said that after she gets back from Malta, she is going to come back to Perth and do a signing for us, and that we will need our tickets with us," Pizzata added.

Natalie departed from Perth on board an Emirates flight at 11.30 p.m. (3.30 p.m. Malta time) She will be performing live at the Malta Song for Europe Festival on Saturday.

Her brother Michael, who is also on her tour's management team told timesofmalta.com that "the show in Perth was great".

Natalie will be landing in Malta tomorrow afternoon, at around 1.20 p.m.
