The Diocesan Presbyterial Council in Gozo has welcomed the provision of naprotechnology to married couples who are finding it difficult to have children at the Gozo General Hospital.

The council said naprotechnology helped overcome most physiological and psychological problems which led to infertility and helped for children to be conceived in a natural manner.

It also excluded risks of manipulation or destruction of human life, exploitation of the couple and detriment to the woman's life.
