The three teams that failed to make the last four this season were Arsenal, Everton and Manchester United. The final, scheduled for May 15, will feature Chelsea and Portsmouth.

Notts County became League Two's last representative when they were eliminated by Fulham, at Craven Cottage, in the fifth round.

The Magpies bridged a gap of 59 positions in English football's standing when they stunned Premier League side Wigan in the previous round. In addition to Wigan, they also eliminated Forest Green, Bournemouth and Bradford City.
