The Malta Union of Teachers said this afternoon that it had directed Mcast lecturing staff not to perform any duties other than lecturing as from Tuesday. The directive was issued after no progress was made in talks on a new collective agreement. The union last week held a successful two-hour strike over the same issue. The union also complained that a circular sent to lecturing staff was repleat with inaccuraces.
