The team behind Porn, the Musical, which will soon become the first full-fledged local musical to be performed at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Festival, paid a courtesy call to Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi at his office in Valletta.

The Prime Minister wished the team the very best in their endeavours and said he hoped the musical would be a hit at the festival.

After a run in Malta between today and Sunday at Argotti Gardens, Porn the Musical, written by Malcolm Galea, Boris Cezek and Kris Spiteri, will be staged at at the George 4 Theatre at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival between August 7-31.

The shows in Malta and Edinburgh are produced by Winston Azzopardi.
