Labour leader Joseph Muscat today called on the government to withdraw all utility bills covering the period since October 1.

He also insisted that even if the tariffs are revised, the government should not ignore the issue of electricity generation but should work to reduce Malta’s dependence on energy.

Dr Muscat made his comments when he called on hydrologist Marco Cremona, whose home is self-sufficient in the provision of water, using rainwater.
