Labour leader Joseph Muscat today had a meeting with British opposition leader Ed Miliband at Westminster in London

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed a number of issues including energy policy, relations between Malta and the UK, Greece, and the situation in, Africa and the Middle East.

Mr Miliband asked about Malta's experience during the divorce referendum.

Dr Muscat and Mr Miliband discussed the internal reforms in their respective parties and the challenges facing European social-democratic parties, a theme which was discussed yesterday during a meeting of socialist leaders in Brussels.
