Prime Minister Joseph Muscat this afternoon visited the Tanti family of Naxxar explaining Budget incentives.

Dr Muscat mentioned the free childcare, which he said would change the face of Malta’s economy as more women would be encouraged to seek employment, the breakfast club, which would enable parents to take their children to school an hour early, tax incentives for first time property buyers and the reduction in water and electricity rates.

The Government, he said, would be collecting €21 million in taxes but giving €60 million to the people. The Government would make its money by increasing economic activity.
