Labour leader Joseph Muscat said today that since the last Budget and including the summer, Parliament would have been in recess for 21 weeks.

This, he said in a tweet, was a sign of the prime minister being unable to steer a clear majority. ‪

"Malta ‬needs stability for economic growth not a new building," he said, referring to the new Parliament House.

Parliament was yesterday adjourned to October 1.
