Richard Grech, 44 of Qormi, known as Iz-Zinnanna, who is awaiting trial for allegedly being involved in the fatal shooting of a bank messenger, is back behind bars after having been convicted of breaching bail conditions.

Mr Grech had been ordered by a court to be at home between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m., but he was found this morning in Birkirkara at 6.30 a.m.

In an arraignment later today he was also accused of threatening his wife and illegally carrying a firearm. He pleaded not guilty.
