The Malta Union of Bank Employees has ordered its members at HSBC not to provide any services to clients before 10.30 a.m. tomorrow.

The action, the second in the space of a week, was ordered because of a deadlock in talks on a collective agreement.

The union accused the bank of being intransigent.

The union also ordered bank employees not to use any communications equipment until noon tomorrow.
