The Malta Tourism Authority has embarked on a series of outdoor regional advertising campaigns in the UK to strengthen existing air routes.

The campaigns in Newcastle, Birmingham and Manchester involve large wrapping or siding advertisements on taxis and buses and video adverts on large outdoor monitors.

The MTA said the campaigns aimed to complement national press advertising through additional promotional activity, including outdoor, online, taxi, bus, radio and large screen promotions that caused a dramatic audiovisual impact in specific regions.
