Jose Mourinho is determined to become Real Madrid coach at some point and admits failure to achieve that aim would leave a void in his career.

The Inter Milan boss is currently preparing his team for the Champions League final and will make a decision on his future after Saturday's match against Bayern Munich at the Bernabeu.

The Portuguese has been heavily linked with the Madrid job this summer, with the Spanish club expected to part company with Manuel Pellegrini.

"I want to go to Real Madrid, 100%," said Mourinho to Marca. "If I didn't get there, I would leave football with a void in my career.

"Only Real can see me leave Milan after two incredible years of work. If I go, I do it with a clear conscience after having changed the club."
