A 49-year-old motorcyclist from Rabat was injured this morning when his bike crashed in St Andrew Street, St. Julian's. The incident happened at about 4.30 a.m.

The police said the man appeared to have lost control of his motorcycle.

His injuries are serious but not life-threatening.
