The family of a motorcyclist who filmed his own fatal accident have released the footage in a bid to encourage motorcyclists to slow down, particularly at junctions.
The dramatic film, captured on a head-cam fitted to the rider’s helmet, shows Norwich motorcyclist David Holmes driving at 97mph on the A47 at Honingham in June. A Renault Clio drove into his lane at a junction and he was unable to stop on time. The car driver was found guilty of causing the accident.
