Almost all the complaints about telecoms and post in the second half of 2017 were sorted out within 20 working days, the Malta Communications Authority said on Wednesday.

Out of 113 complaints, over 55 were about the quality of service, of which 26 were about faults and 12 about internet performance.

The MCA also received 22 complaints about billing issues, and in 10 of these cases, the service provider had to remedy the situation.

The postal service generated nine complaints.

The overall number of complaints was 11 per cent higher in the second half of last year than it was in the first six months.
